Grand Ridge Learning Goals: We are appreciating your efforts to keep
early dismissal and classroom interruptions to a minimum. If you find it
necessary to bring an item to school for your child during class time,
please leave the item in the office. Our office staff will email the teacher
who will send your child to the office at a convenient time that does not
interrupt student learning. Thanks for supporting our goals for learning
at Grand Ridge.
Drop-Off & Pick-Up: When bringing or picking-up your students from
Grand Ridge, please respect our school neighborhood by refraining from
turning into private driveways and from making U-turns on Park Drive.
Please be patient with the traffic and respectful of others during school
arrival and dismissal times.
Additionally, if you are picking up students in the load and unload area,
please review these safety procedures. (please click here)
Lost & Found: The bin is overflowing! November 1st is the last day to
claim items that have been in the bin for more than 30 days. Unclaimed
items will be given to the Issaquah Food Bank. The bin is located next to
the gym.

Elementary Math Website: Math is where it’s at in our classrooms—and now get ready to tap into a full range of online math resources at home, too! Teachers will give elementary students unique passwords and logon information that will allow families to access the Everyday Math support website. This is a great resource: You will find your child’s complete textbook with expanded features like spoken-aloud glossaries, explanations of answers, and Spanish translations. There are also fun math games that specifically target the essential facts, figures, and skills your student needs for in-class lessons (parents, be careful you don’t start playing yourself—the games are contagious). Just click on “Everyday Math Online” on the District’s new elementary math webpage, which also contains: Family Letters, sorted by grade level in English and Spanish, that you will receive throughout the year to indicate that your child is starting a new math unit; information about how teachers have been diligently and thoughtfully implementing the new curriculum; and other online resources. Math is so exciting in our school this year. I hope it is in your home as well!
Family Access Codes: Are available in the office during normal office hours. Please plan to show picture ID and sign our Family Access Log. You only receive one access code per family. There is a log-in for both parents on one Family Access Code Form, but only one form per family. If you have already received your family access code at the middle or high school level, the log-in code is the same.
Need an Absentee Ballot?: If you are in need of an absentee ballot application you can find the forms you need by visiting the King county Elections website at www.metrokc.gov/elections/absentee.htm#ongoing
