Please join me for a special “Got Questions” coffee and friendly dialogue on Thursday, February 28th, at 9:30 a.m., in the Grand Ridge Library. Are you curious about the boundary review process, the school calendar/bell times, Site Council, our homework philosophy and party procedures, or the PTSA’s role at Grand Ridge? Representative from the School District, Grand Ridge, and the PTSA will be available to answer your questions. This is a wonderful opportunity to get answers “directly from the source” to questions you may have concerning our school community. Thank you PTSA for hosting this event with me.
District News & Upcoming Events
2008 Kindergarten Registration: If your child will be 5 years old by August 31, 2008, mark your calendar....Kindergarten registration at Grand Ridge will be on March 5th from 1:30pm - 6:00pm and March 6th from 4:00pm - 6:00pm. Remember to bring a birth certificate, immunization record and proof of residency (utility bill, lease/rental agreement, or purchase documents.
Important WASL Wednesday Schedule Change: Due to the high school WASL on Wednesday, March 12th and April 16th, Grand Ridge’s start and dismissal times have been changed. School will begin at 9:15am for all grades. AM kindergarten will dismiss at 11:48am. First through fifth grades will dismiss at 1:38pm. Buses will run on their M, Tu, Th, Fri schedules.

Umbrellas are here! Hooded sweatshirts are back! Spring is right around the corner, but our Spring Grizzly Gear order form is available now! We are offering pink and brown hooded sweatshirts in youth and adult sizes and a golf-size umbrella in green and white. Find this form in the “Forms” section of the PTSA website.
